Promoted by Work Value , together with the Spanish consultancy Alt64 held today Practitioner Web Analytics 2009, for the first time in Portugal - Lisbon.
The seminar was opened by André Zeferino Value of Work explained that the objectives of the seminar and spoke of the Web Analytics in Portugal.
Then we Avinash Kaushik , who spoke from the perspective of Web Analytics 2.o. In his presentation highlighted some of the tools available and drew attention to the most important aspects to consider in the analysis tools available.
Avinash Kaushik is the author of Web Analytics: one hour a day and the famous blog Occam's Razor . I really enjoyed your presentation as a simple and effective web analytics demystified.
Then we had the presentation of Andres Flores , Web Analytics consultant, who approached the subject from the standpoint of the key issues to be taken into account when we talk about web analytics.
In the afternoon, we had Paul Charles , the Google Portugal, who showed us different perspectives to be considered in policy formation and creation of web campaigns, especially from the standpoint of the research trends of the Internet.
We once again had Avinash Kaushik, with "Actionable Web Analytics", where highlighted the "quick wins" that we must be careful on a Tuscan order to improve and optimize our results.
The seminar ended with Andres Flores, who addressed the issue of KPIs and Business Objectives. Andres Flores stressed the importance of an objective definition of these issues, without which we can hardly successful web analytics strategy.
From my point of view, this seminar went very well, the speakers were adequate and gave us a perspective and dimension of the potential and importance of Web Analytics.

"Actionable Web Analytics" ... is something we've been talking for some time. I deeply regret not having been in PWA. The reference is Avinash.
It is important to start talking more and more the importance of "ragir" information.
