And if one day, one could predict the future?
If one could predict the future, would certainly have one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. Not that the prediction itself was a weapon, but what could be done with the knowledge of the future, would have unpredictable consequences for humanity.
Who does not remember Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) at the wheel of the legendary DeLorean, a time machine built by Doctor Emmett Brown in the movie Back to the Future (Back to the Future)?

First with a trip to the past, where it intersects with their parents after a trip to the future to tackle some situations that would lead to the disappearance of the name McFly and Marty buys a Sports Almanac in order to place bets on the results contained in that almanac when he came back to the year 1985. We were in 1985!
Any one of these trips sequels turned out to be disastrous, because when Marty returned to the past, almost committed to its existence, and visit the future, was forced to make numerous trips to remedy the situation caused by time travel .
In this case, Google allows us to these "trips", but without the complications of the film.
For those who have not yet realized, is the Google Insights for Search I am talking about.
With a concept similar to movie Back to the future, Google Insights for Search allows us to "travel" to the future, based on past knowledge and thus, can make use of future trends.
Complicated? Not so.
Obviously it's not an exact science, but it is certainly a great help when we are drafting a strategy, since it allows us to understand the market trends.
You see here an example of Google . In this case, this example might help in making the decision to an automobile manufacturer, ie, at the time of construction of a new vehicle or even once built, when it wanted to communicate, could see what features should stress, based a source that can be considered the most reliable, after all these are the preferences of the consumers themselves revealed through the research done on the Internet (Google).
Try it yourselves with your business and tell me how it went.
